Asset Inventory
Asset Inventory is the memory of your environment. It collects what every scan discovers — hosts, IPs, MACs, operating systems, open ports — into one searchable database so you always know what you have.

What it does
You cannot protect what you cannot see. As you run the Port Scanner, Network Mapper, and DNS Recon, their results are aggregated and de-duplicated here into one record per asset — with the ports and services last seen on it. The result is a single source of truth for your attack surface.
How to use it
1
Run scans
Any scan you run automatically contributes to the inventory — no extra step.
2
Browse & search
Open the tab to list every known asset; filter by IP, hostname, OS, or port.
3
Drill in
Click an asset to see its history — what changed since you last looked.
What it tracks
- Identity — IP, MAC, hostname, OS.
- Exposure — open ports and the services on them.
- History — when the asset was first and last seen.
What you get
A searchable asset list that powers the Security Score and pairs with Scan Diff to highlight new or changed exposure over time.
Tips
- Schedule recurring scans (see the Scheduler) so the inventory stays current on its own.
- Compare two points in time with Scan Diff to catch a newly opened port the moment it appears.
Authorized use only. Inventory only covers systems you own or are permitted to assess. Data stays local in your SQLite database.
